OP Nayyar used “clapping” to enhance the rhythm in his compositions.
Although it was a frequently used feature, it never sounded repetitive.
Instead it always sounded energetic and lovable. Wonderful music! Lyrics by
Majrooh S are excellent. Mohd. Rafi (who became Shammi K’s voice after this
movie) sang from his heart and Asha Bhosle accompanied beautifully. A song
to cherish forever!
